Lexzur V9.22.00 introduces major updates across Automation Hub, Client Portal, task approvals, hearing management, billing, Messenger, attachments, reports, and user delegation, along with additional improvements and fixes.
1. Automation Hub
1.1 Person and Company Creation Triggers
Automation Hub now supports Person and Company creation triggers, allowing admins to automatically trigger actions and workflows whenever a new person or company is created in the system.
The Person Creation trigger also supports automated questionnaire creation and distribution, helping organizations streamline onboarding, data collection, and internal follow-up.
1.2 Bill and Expense Creation Triggers
New Bill Creation and Expense Creation triggers have been added to Automation Hub, enabling admins to automate notifications, reminders, and actions whenever a bill or expense is created based on defined business rules.
These triggers improve financial workflow efficiency and ensure the right stakeholders are notified at the right time.
2. Task Updates
2.1 Flexible Task Approval Restart on Rejection
Task approval workflows can now be restarted from a specific approver or approval step upon rejection, reducing unnecessary rework, improving approval efficiency, and keeping stakeholders informed through automated notifications.
2.2 Unified Task and Matter Attachments Management
Matter attachments are now integrated into the main Attachments section within Tasks, giving users a single, centralized place to view and manage all related documents, with configurable options to control attachment visibility across related matters.
3. Hearing Management
3.1 Enhanced Hearing Postponement Workflow
The hearing postponement process has been redesigned with a dedicated Postpone Hearing action and modal.
Users can now track linked postponement history, monitor hearing status, and manage time entry updates more efficiently, providing a clearer and more structured way to handle hearing rescheduling.
3.2 Floor and Room Fields for Hearings
New Floor Number and Room Number fields have been added to Hearings, enabling more detailed hearing management and supporting stronger reporting, filtering, and export capabilities across the system.
4. Reports
4.1 New Hearing Roll Session Report
A new Hearing Roll Session report provides a structured view of upcoming hearings, with enhanced grouping, sorting, filtering, postponement details, assignee information, and export options to support court session planning and case management.
5. Client Portal
5.1 Client Portal UX Revamp
The Client Portal has undergone a major UX refresh, featuring redesigned task forms and grids, enhanced delegation management, improved password recovery, updated collaboration and approval workflows, and a more consistent interface aligned with the latest design system.
This update delivers a more modern, intuitive, and user-friendly experience for Client Portal users.
6. Billing and Financial Updates
6.1 Bill Payment Page Revamp
The Bill Payment page has been redesigned to align with the Invoice Payment experience.
The updated page now includes payment summary insights, bill payment progress tracking, and the ability to record payments directly through an in-page popup, creating a more streamlined payment workflow.
6.2 Credit Notes Grid Revamp
The Credit Notes grid has been redesigned with an enhanced interface, including improved columns, filters, action buttons, and overall layout.
This update delivers a more modern and efficient experience for managing credit notes.
7. User Management and Permissions
7.1 User Group Permission Delegation
Users can now temporarily delegate their User Group permissions to another user for a defined period, ensuring seamless coverage of responsibilities while automatic permission revocation maintains control once the delegation ends.
8. Notes and Collaboration
8.1 Enhanced Notes Notification Scheme
Notifications related to notes have been enhanced to ensure all relevant stakeholders stay updated, including support for note edit notifications and improved notification coverage for requesters and watchers across Practice and Contra.
8.2 Quick Access to Internal Notes in Contra
Users can now view and add Internal Notes directly from the Signature Center and Awaiting Signature grids, allowing faster access to collaboration and document discussions without navigating through multiple screens.
9. Messenger
9.1 Group Chats in Messenger
Messenger now supports group conversations, allowing teams to collaborate and communicate with multiple participants within a single chat thread while keeping communication clear and centralized.
10. Matter Updates
10.1 Matter View Page Enhancements
The Matter View page has been refined with usability and design improvements, including streamlined actions, enhanced note management, improved description handling, optimized timelines and comments, better visibility of related information, and a more intuitive overall experience.
11. Additional Improvements
Exports containing more than 10,000 records now support automatic batch processing, prompting users to split large datasets into multiple files to ensure successful exports and prevent timeouts.
Additional minor bug fixes and usability improvements have also been made across the platform.
