1. Matter Configuration

1.1 Matter Add Form Configuration

Users can configure and customize the Matter creation form per practice area and category, with options to add, reorder, hide, or make fields mandatory.

2. Task Updates

2.1 Enhanced Task History

The task History section now captures all logs, including creation, updates, checklists, and approval actions, providing a complete task activity overview.

2.2 Enhanced Task Notifications and Attachment Previews

Task notifications now include attachment details instead of empty comments, and users can preview attachments directly within task comments.

3. LEXA

3.1 Interactive LEXA Sidebar

The LEXA sidebar allows users to interact with the system while it is open, with configurable settings for jurisdiction and sidebar mode (Push or Overlay).

4. Automation Hub Enhancements

4.1 Triggers and Actions

Automation Hub includes:

  • SLA transition triggers
  • Approval and signature triggers
  • Task workflow transitions
  • Invoice creation trigger for automatic task creation and email reminders
  • Archive action for matters, contracts, or tasks

4.2 Data Mapping and Integration

Automation Hub supports:

  • Cross-object field mapping
  • Webhook activation or deactivation based on defined conditions
  • Reminders on custom fields of type Date

4.3 Control and Configuration

Additional enhancements include:

  • Selective field locking for Matters and Contracts
  • Configurable default visibility of attachments in the Client Portal
  • Support for task form configurations and privacy settings when tasks are created through automation

4.4 Client Portal Request Locking

Admins can select specific fields to lock in a Client Portal request. Client Portal users can be restricted to view-only access for watchers, attachments, notes, and more, while internal teams retain edit rights.

5.1 Task Custom Fields Visibility

Admins can control the visibility of task custom fields in the Client Portal using the same functionality available for Matters and Contracts.

5.2 Contributor Field in CONTRA Requests

The Contributor field is available in CONTRA Client Portal requests and appears under the People section with watchers.

6. Financial Reporting

6.1 Income Statement Enhancements

The Income Statement report supports comparison across custom periods, with filters for date ranges and previous year or previous period comparisons.

6.2 General Ledger Improvements

The General Ledger displays the opening balance for each account, with export options for selected dates.

7. Interface and Configuration

7.1 Company Tabs Configuration

Admins can show, hide, and reorder tabs in the Companies module, similar to Matters and Contracts.

7.2 Tabs Configuration Enhancements

Admins can control tab visibility consistently across PRACTICE, CONTRA, and the Client Portal, with flexibility to show or hide tabs independently in each interface.

7.3 Grid Design Enhancements

Grids include updated colors, borders, bold hyperlinks, and highlighted quick filters.

7.4 Default Theme Update

The default theme has been updated with a refreshed color scheme.

8. Dashboards

8.1 Management Dashboard Widgets

New widgets display the number of matters per assigned team and track matters created from the Client Portal by status.

8.2 Documents Dashboard Widgets

New widgets display the number of contracts and documents per assigned team.

  • “Notify Me Before” option added to End Date in contract/document upload and workflow transition screens
  • Convert calendar events into prefilled time entries with one action
  • Dynamic email placeholders for tasks in Automation Hub
  • Search support in custom field dropdowns
  • Ability to rename key fields in Corporate Matters and Litigation Cases
  • Default values for Client, Country, and Applicable Law fields now display correctly in Client Portal contract workflows

  • Default assignee and contributors can be automatically added as approvers in Task Approval Center
  • Option to remove Matter Creator from notification schemes
  • Updated Map Fields tooltip for clarity
  • “Other” renamed to “System Fields” in Automation Hub
  • Contract ID can be added to attachment headers and footers
  • Outdated footers removed from pages
  • Time Entries tab now retains selected number of items after navigation
